This location is within easy reach of some of the best golf courses in Southern Spain (i.e. Valderama, San Roque, Sotogrande or La Reserva). Also, popular with polo enthusiast visiting Sotogrande polo fields. The sandy beaches, numerous restaurants and bars are within a 5 minute drive.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches surround Sotogrande marina and link it with Torrequardio village both of which have bars serving food and drink during the seasons. Alcaidesa is less than a 10 min drive away. 1st class wind and kite surfing at Tarifa is a 40 min drive away. There are however good water sports to be found in Sotogrande including yachting/windsurfing schools and diving tuition all available. Tarifa beaches are a 40min drive but well worth it.
Travel
The nearest airport is Gibraltar which is a 25 mins drive and Malaga a 1 hour drive. To make the most of this beautiful area it is advisable to hire a car. Jerez Airport is also now a 1 hour 25 minute drive.
Distances
Sotogrande is around a 40 min drive down the coast from the popular shopping centres of Marbella and Banus. Its closest popular resort town is Estepona which is a 20 min drive.

Sotogrande has a wide selection of restaurants, local shops and a superb marina, villages surrounding Sotogrande all offer additional traditional festivities with superb restaurants, bars and atmosphere. Sotogrande has something for everyone. For some it`s a sport, sailing, golfing, tennis or polo paradise and for others it`s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the fabulous surroundings.
