Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches surround Sotogrande marina and link it with Torrequardio village both of which have bars serving food and drink during the seasons. Alcaidesa is less than a 10 min drive away. 1st class wind and kite surfing at Tarifa is a 40 min drive away. There are however good water sports to be found in Sotogrande including yachting/windsurfing schools and diving tuition all available. Tarifa beaches are a 40min drive but well worth it.
Golf
Sotogrande many magnificent golf courses including the famous Valderrama (Ryder Cup course). There are also several further championship courses within a 15 minute drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Gibraltar which is a 25 mins drive and Malaga a 1 hour drive. To make the most of this beautiful area it is advisable to hire a car. Jerez Airport is also now a 1 hour 25 minute drive.
Distances
Sotogrande is around a 40 min drive down the coast from the popular shopping centres of Marbella and Banus. Its closest popular resort town is Estepona which is a 20 min drive.

Sotogrande has a wide selection of restaurants, local shops and a superb marina, villages surrounding Sotogrande all offer additional traditional festivities with superb restaurants, bars and atmosphere. Sotogrande has something for everyone. For some it`s a sport, sailing, golfing, tennis or polo paradise and for others it`s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the fabulous surroundings. Either way, it deserves a visit to see it for yourself.
